Buffalo River Speedway owner looks for new buyers

GLYNDON, Minn. — A longtime Minnesota racetrack is looking for new owners. Jason Berg, the owner of Buffalo River Speedway, says he is looking for someone to "take the track to the next level." Berg says he originally bought the 72-year-old dirt raceway six years ago, so it would not close down. He says with rising costs and a hard summer personally, which included a concussion and time spent in the hospital, it's time for a change. "I feel I've reached the limitations that I can do. I'm not going to give up by any means because I love it. However, we're actively looking for someone to take over the place if they want to," Berg said. Berg says if there's not a worthy buyer, he'll continue to run the track next year. ]]>
