Clay shooting event in Horace will benefit Fisher House ND

HORACE — A clay shooting event will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, at the shooting park in Horace to benefit a housing project designed to accommodate families of Fargo Veterans Affairs Health Care System patients. The CorVent Clay Classic will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the shooting park, located at 4333 167th Ave. SE in Horace. The event will feature clay shooting, a steak dinner and a licensed raffle, according to an event flyer. Tickets are $100 each, with $50 discounted tickets for students and veterans. All tickets include ammo and a meal. Kids ages 16 and under can shoot for free, but the meal is not included. Fisher House North Dakota is intended to be "a place of healing, connection, and relief for military families when they need it most," the flyer said.
